Moneyline
Moneyline bets are the most fundamental type of sports betting. To win a moneyline bet, simply select the team you believe will win the game outright. Your moneyline bet will be a winner if you are correct.
The favorite will be designated with minus odds in moneyline betting, while the underdog will be designated with plus odds. For example, if you bet $130 on the Eagles to beat the Cowboys at -130 odds and the Eagles win, you will win $100.
Parlay
Combining two or more wagers into a single stake is known as parlay betting. The more legs you include in the parlay, the better the odds and the greater the possible reward. Each leg of a parlay must win individually for the parlay to win. If even one leg fails, your entire parlay ticket is a loss.
Consider the following NFL parlay:
- Moneyline for the Chiefs (-125)
- The moneyline for the Jaguars is (+135).
- Moneyline for the 49ers (-105)
The total parlay odds for these three legs are +698. If you bet $100, it will pay out $698 if you win.
Live Betting
When you bet live, you’re betting on markets that don’t open until the game starts. Odds and lines, often known as in-game betting, are updated and move in real-time according to the game flow.
For example, if the Saints’ moneyline against the Panthers is set at -120 before the game, the odds could alter to +100 if the Panthers establish an early three-point lead. If you believe the Saints can come back and win the game, a live bet with the lengthier, +100 odds can yield you better odds than the pre-game market.
Over/Under Totals
Over/under totals are wagers based on the total number of points scored in a game by both teams combined. You can also wager on the total points scored by both teams or just one.
For example, if you bet on an NFL game to go under 49.5 points (-110), the total number of points scored in the game must be fewer than 50 in order for your wager to be considered a victory.
Prop Bets
Prop bets come in a variety of forms. Team props, game props, and particular player prop bets, such as NFL player props and NBA player props, are the three most prevalent. These bets are related to an individual team, player, or game outcome, but have nothing to do with the results of a game in terms of win, loss, or total score. Futures
